Jackson is a Costume Designer and Artisan with a passion for visual storytelling and collaborative ideation. They create costumes that are striking, innovative, and speak to the future while calling on the past. Jackson find exciting visions in purposeful period blending, dramaturgical worldbuilding, and theatre of the absurd, avant garde, and experimental. They are committed to bringing queer, trans, and marginalized stories to the forefront pushing toward a more diverse and expansive future in theatre.
Originally from Kansas City, Jackson received their BFA in Theatre Design and Production with a focus in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in 2026. At CMU, they received specialized training in all areas of costume design and technology, and designed costumes for three mainstage productions: The Inseparables, Ajax, and Eurydice. Jackson has worked professionally with the Pittsburgh CLO in Pittsburgh, PA; the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY; and the Santa Fe Opera in Santa Fe, NM. They have designed and built two fashion collections for CMU’s annual fashion show, Lunar Gala, and created costumes for numerous independent projects.
